The event, which took place at London’s Royal Garden Hotel on Wednesday 12th March, was hosted by Financial Director magazine and is the leading awards ceremony for UK Finance Directors, teams and suppliers. Individuals, teams and businesses that have demonstrated success and innovation over the last twelve months were recognised via an extensive judging process.
Talentia CPM, a flexible, collaborative and web-based system, overcame six other shortlisted finalists to receive the award. This recognises Talentia’s commitment to research and development as well as great customer service. Talentia dedicates 20% of its revenue and 80 employees to research and development of its software and customer feedback is integral to this process.
“We are honoured that Talentia CPM has been named Software Product of the Year at such an important event for our industry,” states Julie Windsor, Managing Director at Talentia Software UK, who collected the award alongside Viviane Chaine-Ribeiro, CEO at Talentia, from the event’s celebrity host, TV and radio comedian and bestselling author Tony Hawks.
“This is an exciting time in the history of our company as Talentia Software now brings together proven solutions in two critical business functions to better enable companies to achieve competitive advantage,” adds Julie Windsor. “This award win recognises our growth in the UK over the past twelve months, the dedication of our team and the high levels of service that we offer to our clients.”
Talentia CPM was launched in the UK in 2013 following its release in European countries including France. Through the software, Talentia helps its clients to transform their processes and improve visibility of business performance.
The solution delivers reporting, budgeting, planning, consolidation and forecasting functionality from within a single application. Accessible worldwide via an internet browser, the software enables users from all departments within organisations to collaborate and contribute from different locations. The importance of such a system was highlighted by recent Talentia findings from a survey of 130 FDs and CFOs that revealed that 54% believe collaboration across company departments is vital to corporate performance, with 81% citing the importance of accurate data.
“Talentia won based on the breadth and scope of its product line to help businesses of all sizes, including the demands of an increasingly globalised economy,” stated feedback from the awards’ judging panel. “Talentia’s annual R & D budget and dedication to their software is an indicator of the business’ sustainability and drive to innovate.”
The web-based nature of Talentia’s product allows for frequent updates to be easily applied to the application, in order to deliver added functionality to keep pace with the fast-moving international businesses that rely on Talentia CPM.
